About the destination

Stretching along the Atlantic in southwestern Spain, the Costa de la Luz (“Coast of Light”) lives up to its name with wide, golden beaches and dazzling sunsets. Less crowded than the Costa del Sol, it offers a more relaxed, authentic feel. From the sand dunes of Doñana National Park to the windswept shores near Tarifa, this is a coastline made for long walks, ocean views, and a slower pace of life. Cádiz, one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, invites you to wander its maze of narrow streets, climb the cathedral tower, and linger in lively plazas with a glass of sherry.
